I was just guessing it might be worth looking at for such a rare and expensive block. The billet aluminum fuel rails didn't even melt. Not only are they higher up, but they would hav had fuel in them to make the fire hotter in that spot. The short block might be salvagable. I doubt the heads would still be good, but the short block, maybe.

Is the block Aluminum? If so doen't aluminum warp and become brittle under extreme heat?

I am sure Mark will be looking at every salvagable part including suspension and block. Heat can do a lot of funny things, it will all be inspected closely.

truck will be full covered through Homeowners insurance,
