i see what yall are talking about with the traction bars. you should definitely have the front bracket mounted solid so the bars dont move at all.

something like this.

The shackle at the rear allows the leaf to move rearward slightly which also moves the axle to the rear slightly when the suspension is compressed.


This is the "hinge" at the front of my set up. When you hit the throttle, the bar moves forward and stops the hinge against the rubber pad. But it doesn't interfere with the normal cycling of the suspension.

For a race car application, I guess you would want a stopper on the back side also, for brake hop.

Good job with the swap. I was reading this thinking WTF? I think everyone with their .02 should start PMing one another.

Can any of the mods clean up this thread??????

Its a build thread, but still on a public forum where people will give their advice and opinion(kinda the whole point).
