Cool LS6 Engine Swap into '00 Sierra stepside

Everyone's getting tired of me saying "I have an LS6 on the stand" so...

I finally put it in my truck. 1 1/2 days and a trip to Fleet Farm for a bigger pry bar to seperate the tranny (thanks for your advice guys). Should have it wrapped up by afternoon tomorrow and get started on the HP Tuner. Fortunately I had a good friend stop by and give me a hand.

Hopefully my tranny will last a season or two

OK after a few hangups and leaks, I ran the tune and she fired right up. Now I've gotta figure out how to run the "gauge" screen on the scanner so I can read my timing and A/F. Here's a pic of the engine installed..Not much different to look at

Here's my homemade traction bars:

The B&M rachet floor shifter:

Now if anyone has a couple grand I can borrow I'll get some headers, hi-flow cats, x-pipe, dual Dynomax, and a set of rims and tires

Videos coming soon. Just looking at cameras today. Problem is, it's hard to do smoky burnouts in the snow.

Thanks for the compliments- Especially from guys that work as hard on their own stuff
