A 1 volt drop will not be enough to hurt anything, you either have a bad engine ground or something is keeping the engine from turning over..... re-check your main grounds and try turning the engine over by hand..

Engine turns over fine by hand, rechecked all grounds to engine... Could it be my truck flywheel I reused, is there a difference between truck and ls1 flywheels?

YES! The truck flywheel is designed for a NV3500 trans and clutch assy, you need a LS1 f-body style clutch and flywheel....

Figured it out lastnight, pulled tranny so I could see Wat the starter was doing.. For one the truck flywheel has a deeper bowl to it( about 1/4") deeper.. So my starter couldn't reach the flywheel teeth, I swapped out flywheel lastnight with Ls1 lightweight aluminum one, but it still isn't lining up all the way, it's about 1/8" off so I'm Gona try an shim the starter this weekend
