Nice, I saw you posted the part #s for the fittings in the trans. Did you check them to make sure they are right?

No not yet, just started tearing everything apart tonight. I will look at it all tomorrow though.

Well got the ARP torque converter bolts in and things went much smoother with them. I recommend getting nothing but ARPs when doing this conversion with the FTI converter. If you try to use stock verter bolts the nipple will bottom out and will be too long.

Before- using stockers:

After- using ARPs:

I didn't want to do the hack job to my slip yoke so I took it to a local machine shop. Not too shabby for $25 if I don't say so myself.

Even polished it up for me:

Cross-member cost me $70 to have cut and welded:

And don't make fun of my blue wire loom, it was all I could find at the time.

Got bored while waiting on parts coming in, being machined, and welded so I painted my drive shaft...

I broke my damn 4l80 dipstick tube so I bought a Lokar and am waiting on that to come in... I must say the dipstick was the most pain in the *** of this whole thing for me...and I've ran into several problems.

Can't wait to see it in action again. I'm still waiting on parts and deciding how I'm going to wire mine.

It's coming along! I had hell with my dipstick too. Let me guess. You broke it where the support is tacked on?

You and me both. I'll let you know how this harness works out. I think it would be best for you especially since you have no autocal or "local" tuner. It would save you from having to call, get an appt, and trailer it to Lawton.

Finally....didnt think I would ever get this thing nearly complete. I actually bent it in half trying to wiggle it around my supercharger. I forget how much space that thing takes up!

Hope to have some vids up this weekend.

That's why you stick it in before the trans go in from the bottom and line it up as the trans goes up. For future reference.

The 60 was easy, but we all know you have had a ton of experience dropping and installing trannies!
