Jschrock Build Thread w/MP 112
Started gathering parts a couple months ago and was finally able to take my vacation to install...I started today.
Before:
5.3L: bone stock with drop in K&N and BB Tune
Transmission: Vette Servo, Yank TT3000, and stock cooler
Exhaust: Thorley Tri-ys, 22" Magnaflow, Dynomax bullet, ORY, and E-cutout
Mods:
Engine:
216/224 .551 cam
706 p&p heads with LS1 valves
LS7 lifters w/LS2 lifter trays
Hardened 7.4 pushrods
Magnacharger MP 112
MP 112 upgrades:
2.8 richard racing pulley
60lb/h Siemens Deka 4 Mototron High Impedance (Long Style) with EV1 Connectors with my fuel system they run about 67lb/hr
-6AN braided stainless fuel crossover line in the front
90mm ported J-tube (still waiting to buy 90MM TB and X-link)
Upgraded adjustable pulley assembly (supposed to prevent popping belts)
Smaller high velocity coolant pump
Transmission:
Tru-Cool 40K cooler
I started taking pics, but easily got distracted by the progress...
Chrysler Pulley puller worked great btw...
Old lifters with beside the new LS7 lifters...(stopped taking pics after this lol)
I stopped after this because I do not have a dowel in my new camshaft, so I am taking my stock one to the machine shop in the morning to see if they can get it out and put in my new one. OR just see if he has an extra laying around.....
Oh and last but certainly not least:

Where I left off last night:
UPDATES:
Well I would like to say the morning started off great, but... Work started calling at 4:30 this morning, I got a phone call from my mom that my gpa is in ICU. He just had quadruple bypass and a maze procedure done the week before Thanksgiving and no has pneumonia. So, I went to drop off my cam to machine shop and went and saw gpa. Got the cam and headed to work on it after lunch and counted all the lifters (yeah, I know should have done that before I took the cam out) and this is what I found:
Decided eh, that's easy enough just grab it and take it out right? WRONG...it fell... So I decided to take the valley cover off and try a magnet pin...
Sorry no pic of cover off this was pre taking it off:
Got it out with a big magnetic pen
Fast forward to this afternoon:
Got the heads, timing chain, cam in, lifters, rockers, valve covers, etc on
another:
Any requests on seeing anything beyond this point? I will try to take more, you just forget when you are in the zone :rofljest:

Anyone have any pics of the 40k trans cooler and the Maggie cooler? Need some ideas on brackets for them. TIA....I will upload pics tomorrow morning, didn't get too much accomplished today. Just the headers, water pump, trans cooler and some wiring for the Autometer gauges.

Well, made some progress just like some wiring, routing coolant lines, and fabbing a bracket for the cooler.
Pics:
Trans cooler install:
Supercharger and brackets on:
Alot of wiring to finish up with pod gauges.
Still trying to fab something up for the trans cooler and supercharger cooler....
