I replaced the UCA bushings with the beltek kit so hopefuly I can get my alignment set up better now. What does everyone recommend for alignment setup specs? I dont do any curvy driving, just drag strip and highway...
As a side note, I bought a 20ton press from harbor freight and replaced the jack with a 20ton air jack....money well spent! I replaced all 4 bushings in probably an hour including taking them off and reinstalling them, pretty easy job!
1000 miles on the coilovers and still rocking!

I had no idea you're in Huntsville, but I'd love to see this truck in person. I have a 2003 Silverado I got about a month ago to start playing with. Currently getting parts for a 6.0 swap to go in it. Anyways, there is a local forum that you might find interesting that is big into drag racing. It's called hsvracing.com. If you go there to sign up go ahead and get prepared for hazing of the new guy with "GF or wife's **** or GTFO" etc, but just ignore that and move on with your posts. There are some pretty good guys on that forum, and several legitimate street cars that are running in the low 6s and high 5s. As a matter of fact they are setting up a street car shootout coming up soon if you'd be interested in participating. I'm sure all of them would love this truck. Just ignore the drama haha.

Havent updated in a while...
Went to the PT Jackson, MS meet and had some fun with this GTR that traps about 170mph in the 1/4.

I knew I would loose but sheesh that car is awesome.
I only got to make one pass...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7C3X...bJz5E7-rSqcNbA
Damage ended up being...
Coolant tank:
Head and head gasket:
And turbine wheel:
The good news is the block and piston looks fine and the oil is clean.
I had the tank fixed, turbine wheel replaced, and head repaired by MPFab (guy who did my turbo pipes)
I also upgraded to the ARP CA625 head studs and 5/8 nuts on the recommendation of Brian at LME. There is a substantial size difference...dunno if it helps but it makes me feel better about it.
Fancy head studs...
I am working on getting everything back together now, and finally redid that annoying cable bracket...the new design is much simpler
