I am (hopefully anyway...) in the same spot. I haven't been to the track but they sure as hell are going to kick me out.

I remember one night the truck ran a 11.40 something while it still looked completely stock. The dude at the timing tow told me to wait there and a track official would bring me my slip. Dude showed up, looked at the slip and was like, this has to be the wrong slip. Then upon further inspection (under the hood), he was like, load it up and don't come back until you have this that and the other for safety ****. It was pretty funny.

I've never had anything muttered my way other than 2 instances:

#1) Needed a helmet running 8.30s @ HMP (this was recently after a racer passed on the track, think they tightened up safety regs)
#2) Told I needed a metal valve stem instead of rubber on my old racestars (Bogarts come with metal)

Numerous 10/11 second runs, not a peep. Other than people trying to figure out how the hell a stock excab on 20s was running 10s. lol

Yall should come my way...you can run 5.whatever in the 1/8th as long as it has 4 tires and you have a helmet.

The last two deaths at HMP where mostly blamed on stupidity of the track owner. The place should not be open anymore since they widened the **** out of E. Mount Houston. The end of the track (which already has a short as **** shut down area) is made of a couple rows of water barrels and a concrete wall.

I personally knew the last two dudes that died there with in the last couple years and it pretty much sucked really bad.
