I have read that these and other aftermarket rockers are heavy over the tip? Thats why most guys recommend Comp upgrade or the bushed setup. Thought about doin these also but dont know what to think about the stories Ive read about aftermarket rockers on the LS engines. What made you go with the Yella's over other brands if you dont mind me askin?

Speaking of rockers, back in my old bored 5.3 d1sc street truck days I ran the gold comp rockers..........never an issue. 7500 rpm in the burnout box (because it sounded good) and 7200 rpm shifts. That motor lasted me 4 years without ever having to take a valve cover off and when I sold it, it was still in great condition.

one reason i got a good deal on them and i was told the harland sharps were not so good and i don't really trust comp cams if i had to do it over id probably just run bushed stockers at the time they didn't make the bushed type only the needle bearing style
