We're over spinning it by 5%

I thought i remembered reading you were spinning yours faster than that.

Your ratio is steeper, but I was turning more rpm. Make sense?

Your 7.65/3.25 gives a 2.35 drive ratio. Mine was 8.13/3.54 which gives a 2.29 drive ratio. So yall are accellerating the blower a little quicker, but your shift at 6750 only spins the blower 65142 rpm, while mine shifting at 7000 was spinning the blower 65912.

Right. At the end of the day it doesn't really matter. The max blower RPM is the max RPM.

You made more boost than he did... But that most definitely doesn't matter. If your combo pulled to 7k with a 66k blower speed and we shift earlier with a 65100 blower speed you're spinning yours faster. If the engine that it was put on that allows for a steeper ratio, so be it. By the same token you could say he is at a disadvantage not being able to hit the same rpm you did. It's such small differences that we're splitting hairs, but you get the idea. .

It would be like an LS guy telling a modular lightning guy who can only spin his engine to 5k that it's bullshit he can run a smaller pulley and not over spin his blower.
