Verified it once on the dyno before we even opened the bottle, it works brilliantly, in that I have full timing advance during NA usage (ie: street driving it makes maximum hp all the time) and I have to do nothing to safely use nitrous.

Here's a wiring diagram, I obviously forgot to write the resistance value out (heat of the moment maybe?) but, I think it was 3.9K, but don't take my word for it.

Do you have a link for a write up on this? Interested on doing this for my setup.

Also some pics maybe?

Well... when you joke around with a "I'll sell you my cam" type scenario when your buddy is talking about buying a cam... and then he says sure, well you're kinda committed at that point.

I really didn't go off any write-up, Kevin (my tuner) brought it up and I made it happen. I also don't have any photos of it, I can get some if you like, but it's literally a weatherpack relay in the engine bay that's loomed up. It is very basic, it just tricks the IAT into reading -40 when the nitrous solenoid is activated (only when nitrous is physically spraying).

Yeah, I'd like to check out what it looks like, I understand the concept, just want to see how you did it.

I did the best I could, you can see in this photo the small harness that veers away from the larger harness, it is the "trigger" side of the relay, tied into the power and ground for the nitrous solenoid.

Here is the relay, it's a weather pack unit, 5 terminal.

Aside from that I couldn't really get any more photos, the wiring in tied in and nearly hidden completely the the ECM wiring for the IAT sensor.

Still waiting for Oliver to upload them, I'll remind him.

Put the truck away last night, box comes off Saturday and the fun begins.

I just got my kit, so I'm sure I'll be frequently asking questions..

Is that a fuel pressure gauge before the solenoids? Did you tap the shrader valve on fuel rails for fuel?

Sorry for the late reply, yes it is. I just wanted something to help diagnose in the future if required. Seemed like the time to do it now.

Nitrous express makes a fitting that plugs inbetween the quick disconnect line and rail that has two 1/8" NPT fittings, one I used to run to the solenoids and the other fitting has a fuel pressure safety switch in it.

Here is the on-board of the 12.48 pass. You can hear it slip the front tires shifting into second and also slip the trans pretty bad 3-4 shifting. We need to tighten up the shifts overall. This thing should have damn close to an 11 second pass in it as is.

So, since it's been away, I haven't really touched it. Myself and a couple buddies pulled the box off, I removed the factory bumpstop brackets welded to the axle as they were hitting half way up my notch. I also took my rear shocks out and threw them out... they were completely failed. I also took the headers off and sent them off to get ceramic coated. The blue shark nozzle got sold and I ordered a black one (Damn OCD).

The only thing I have to show off so far is these puppies, finally got a match set for the rear. The other two are for my buddy's 14

I also bought myself a new daily... 03 2wd RCSB with a 5.3L and built 4l60e. It needs some TLC but it's a great little truck.

I've also been building a truck for a buddy in what little spare time I have, LS6 with a Maggie TVS1900 ( I think, correct me if I'm wrong).

That's all for now, I'll probably tear into the motor around March-April to swap out the cam and springs and gear up for more nitrous come spring. This year should be great. I also need to get new wheels for summer 2016 as I sold mine... honestly, suggestions would be great as I'm not sure what I'd like to run. Something that looks good black and preferably 10 or wider. 22"? Merry Christmas, guys!

Is torque management pulling timing during the shift or something? Sounds like spark being cut for a split second

what did you use for a purge line? They gave me a dinky 5 inch long one with my kit... which is basically good for nothing

I just used some Cupro-nickle brake line to "get me by" until the truck went away for the winter and I had a chance to change it to stainless.

Boy, I sure haven't updated this in a while, really have nothing to update... didn't touch the truck all winter! Never done that before. But, the weather is getting better around here so it's time to get back at it I think... I've been really hankering to drive it.
