just gotta find some time here in the next few weeks to have rob tweak the tune.If you're still on the stock 80 converter I can imagine one would be a great improvement for you especially considering you have large tires too.

Let me know when you head up cause Ill definitely go. Ive been thinking about going on a Wednesday because hopefully there would be less traffic.
How does it change the way it drives? If you go easy does still act stock but when you romp on it the rpms jump right up?
And what does it stall at when you foot brake it im just curious cause I can get my truck to about 2500 I think on the stock one
Does it still hook up when you launch it?

The changes in the way it drives are as follows...
Cam doesn't surge the truck at idle
I now roll backwards when on a hill in drive
It does not drive like stock, it requires much more gas to get her moving, which is expected, especially with the big tires.
It feels amazing shifting thru the gears at half throttle, just keeps pulling.
Because Rob hasn't tuned it yet I have not done a wide open pull from a dead stop. I'm almost certain that it will not hook in 2wd, it will boil the 33's... 4wd it'll hook.
Foot braking gets it up around 2500, you may be able to do that with the stocker because you're making more power than I.

Yea it really changes the driving experience.
The tires will no doubt add to its 'loose' feeling while normal driving.
As soon as we adjust the tune it will allow for more stall speed while not moving. I would imagine as the truck sits it is pulling a lot of timing as a drivetrain safety mechanism with that much converter slip. We will also be able to add some bottom-mid range timing to help it hit that converter even harder off the line.

Yeah that'd be great if all of us could go again, and speaking of Kurt he just got his truck tuned at SMG this week, one of my friends just started working there and sent a snapchat of a orange lowered pickup on the dyno and sure enough the plates were the same as his
