Update for Julien. Tranny got the FLT, they found a few valves where cracked in the tranny from someone either dropping the tranny or banging someone on it. Glad we sent it to them to check it out because they caught it right away. So now they are going to check over the tranny and ship it back and things should be good for Julien. Enjoy.

yogi... i do believe that is very close to the last of the hack work the other shop did that rick has had to fix.... hopefully all should be ok now

Wow, great news Rick!! Thanks for the update and the follow up!
I guess it should be noted that even though they denied it the original shop dropped the tranny and engine combo, from what height...I dunno. So far there has been a cracked oil pan, a bent harmonic balancer, an banged up valve cover and a tranny that had most of the valves broken from a hard impact.
At least my case will be easier when I confront them about their work.

 

Actually shannon Bill has heard it run. Bill and Mark were at Rick's shop the day I drove up to SF. They know to fear my cursed Black Cloud. btw that's what I've named her..."Dark Cloud"

Good choice going with Silver...Pewter Harpoon just doesn't sound right! The Blue whale has been delegated to a R&D truck becuase she fears you Bill...on a side note, I might be flying to Japan tonight...will find out in 3 hours.
