Damn that's like dancing with cars! I've seen plenty of drifting, but that just seemed smooth and effortless.

I love the 360 drifts he does going 60mph +/-. Reminds me of those crazy guys in dubai doing that at like 120mph. I've been looking around on a few forum's already and joined one that specializes in V8 swaps in 240's. Should be fun.

I've been toying with the idea of a 47x tt RX7 for a while now.

Don't tell my wife

What gives me pause (besides the idea of an iron to the head) is the ride I took my buddy's OBS RX7 that had a turbo 327 in it... In the rain... on a downhill serpentine road... He sold it soon after... He eventually saved it (and us) but we're both still scarred by that experience (too much power, too little weight, no traction)

Keep your head up Julien, it will all work out in the end.

btw, the ls1 in a 240 is a great idea. Quik and the crew from pittspeed did a drag 240 with a ls1 for the show Pinks last year. It turned out great.

Yeah I don't think any more than a 350-400 to the wheels would be beneficial. Especially since it might be nose heavy.

Thanks Josh! Considering what you had to deal with, with your truck it would suck for me to bitch about anything dealing with mine. Despite my frustrations I'm very comfortable and hopeful with the truck in Rick's hands.

And actually I still talk to Quik from time to time. He's offered me some pointers already and once I start digging into it I plan on leaning on his past experience heavily, it's great to have the support of everyone.

Car should be here tomorrow, and I'll start the disassembly process then as well as a dedicated thread.

Had a '73 Vega GT sleeper, 408 sbc with turbo 400, 3.73 posi, weight: 2730. Basically would spin G60's about 400-450 ft at the track but that was just good street rubber, not DR's. Man that car was fun, but like drivin in the rain if you floored it.
