Default Forged 370 coming together.

Just wanted to post up a few pics of my build. Seems like there are a few of us building 370's on here so I'd thought I'd join the crowd and post up. Still have a few loose ends to tie up but it's coming together. It's getting there thanks to the help of a few people you might recognize from Grippy's build-up. Same master builder(Rex), same shop(WCCH), same mad scientist who put it together (Richard who stays behind the scenes) and similar pictures.

It's more of a sponsor build than anything:
WCCH 245cc Edelbrock Heads
FLT 4L80E LVL-5
STS GT-76
ABEAR Motorsports VC's
StylinConcept's BP's

Block before the **** get's his hands on it...

The **** finally got his hands on it...Some people just don't know how to respect other people's property...WHACK it again REX!!

Master Builder building masterfully

Crank, piston, rings, and a few Rods.

My Rods are on the far right. Left is stock(bent) Middle is Probe 4340 forged I-beams(Same as Grippy's). I'm gonna need a little extra beef for what I have planned.

Lined up and ready for their new home.

It's giving me blueballz just looking at it. Still have a few things to finish up.

glad to see you have Rex building your engine, he is Awesome! His knowledge and attention to detail is second to none!
I see he bought a new T-Shirt as well, LOL, good on ya Rex!

Did you go with the Ackerly & Childs Rings spec'd by Rex? Melling Oil Pump with the "bad ***" spring in there?

Good deal bro, I expect no less than the best from you! How's your Monster Truck motor coming along?
Unfortunately I'll be out to Sea again next week when it rains it pours

224/230 .050" of valve lift on each. I'll get all the specs out soon. Rex and I were going over it but I didn't grab the sheet he gave me.

Richard (aka the Brains) and Rex said the stock crank will hold up fine so we stayed with it.
Final compression is 8.8:1
I'm gonna be running a high boost appplication. I'm shooting for 20lbs-22lbs. I have to play around with my A/R housing first to see what works best. I have a pretty small one in there now.
