You wont get your money back from the shop you bought your converter from, you've had it in too long BUT it is a PI VIG and it can be rebuilt and re stalled and kept or reinstalled.

 

im on laptop right now... found someone who gave me a new main board.... all seems well now... there is a pc club computer store out here and when i told him what was wrong he had a spare parts d610 dell shell with only mainboard, and a battery... so he gave the the mobo, when he told me 15 bucks and i told him i would hit him up in aweek when i can scratch up some change... he said to just go ahead and take it... i could have it.... now all seems well

How much would it cost to get it rebuilt etc...?
Would it be worth doing that and try to sell it if it is in fact broken?

 

Contact PI on the refresh, I think it's a couple bills but then the converter is NEW.
