the new trans and converter holding up...... but I knew pushrods are wrong length and were a little tight..... the PRW's couldn't take it...broke #4 intake....now gotta pull head and check valves.....

well after pulling the head and finding out my compression is really almost 12:1 i have changed routes.....Going to the dark side! ordered a mpt70 .96 turbo and 317 heads...piecing together rest now... gonna do a custom rear mount setup time for boost

Heads...Intercooler.. Wastegate... Head bolts and some piping arrived so far... Waiting on oil pump.. Gaskets and springs to get started

why rear mount? just askin, front mount seems to be the way to go. looks like a very nice setup!! Your rods look like billet I beam's...$1200 rods. I am not a fan of the pistons, but the rest is a high rev stout motor for sure!! Good luck with the new setup.

got too much $ in my headers and exhaust setup to ditch it now.... gonna see how the rear mount does... easy to convert from rear mount to front mount if i want to later since the IC and all will already be in place.

motor is out and torn down.... decided to drill pan and throw in new moly rings and bearings since motor sat for 2 years in a crate... parts should be here thursday

late i know but just passed 1200 miles soits broke in...time to tune.... crappy little vid from a dig on the 20's motor built for boost.... stock317's and 9.5:1 untuned... it will catch 2nd on the 20's with the 3k converter.. road just rough here as you can tel...lol

long time gone but first fired new motor up sunday...arp rod bolts in stock ls1.. 799 heads..comp 236/242..601/610 cam.. open headers... quick start as there is no radiator yet... but good to hear it again lets hope tranny stays together this time
