alright waiting on parts but im off this coming fri,sat and sun so doing the swap then!... I'm ready to see this beast in action!!

using stock intake with the 32's for noe til I can do the 90mm set up and throm in the 38's for the nitrous

progress... kinda.. Looks like murphys law won today. Got the ole 5.3 out without too much of a problem except the motor mounts... my dewalt 1/2" 18 volt nor my pneaumatic couldn't get the bolts from the motor mount to the frame mount out... pulled motor and then of course 2 of those bolts broke off...one on each side!! dammit!! new motor still on stand gotta run to the only junk yard open on saturday.. 30 minutes away in the morn to get those brackets.... and then hope all goes well..

 

motors in and running! making studs for these valve covers since the bolts are a PITA! drilled them and installed breather and pcv .. waiting on loctite to set then doing the 20 minute cam break in and i will post a vid! It revs so quick!!

 

got a pulley squelin...not the idler replaced it.... but did take it down the road and found out the stock 60E will have to be in tow mode to make the 1-2 shift..lol if not it slips BAD!! so looks like tranny will be in the near near future now the tuning will commince

 

did have a problem with the crappy RPC valve covers and my rockers... drivers side only... tried lotta clearancing on it but it keeps pulling down and hitting rockers. surprisingly stock one fit over the rockers but I wanna do something there .. I know it is too close

 

tranny guy is backed up about 3 weeks so I have to pamper it for a while..... bought some stuff to fab up brackets to try and salvage drivers side valve cover.... 2nd gear is a HUGE difference from before.... now to add my walbro 255 and post up vids.... and pray tranny lasts 3 weeks

well tranny got yanked today and dropped off to my guy... getting a full build and a 3k converter . should be ready wednesday need to add my inline pump now while i have some down time... i know I need to add videos but no comments in like 200 views...whats up guys?
