Ya that seems what mine does as well. Shortly past 4K not much going on there, it's done. I'm going to look into flex fuel setup I think that would be awesome!

Today I kind of started the build process so far the mods I have done are a flowmaster muffler from previous owner, I just put a 180* thermostat in it last week, I installed a K&n FIPK cai today, and a friend and I street tuned it tonight. We started with a very mild performance tune we found in HP Tuners supository. We removed torque management in the 80e trans completely and upped line pressure a little, then we messed with fueling and timing. We're seeing 5* of knock at about 50% throttle and about 4* at wot so we messed around with Pe a bit took care of the tip in issues, and added fuel in the mid range, and ended up with less timing in it than the stock tables had and it seems to be happy now. Feels really strong till about 5k and it's done after that.

I used to get 12-13mpg on the hwy at 55 stock. Now it gets 15-16 I haven't checked it while towing I plan to put a heavy load behind it and see what it does. As well as do a couple logs and see how it behaves.

This was with 87oct pump gas. Quite surprised with the changes so far. I do want to get it on the Dyno and do some pulls at this step. See where we're at, I'm working on specing a custom cam for it, and plan to have the OE heads Cnc ported and am going to do a ported intake manifold, and headers for the next step.

No I hadn't, I wanted to but my tuner has been swamped I have three customer rides up there at the moment. It would be easy to put it back to stock in minutes. I haven't done any major changes yet. I still plan to do it.

This is a truck that I've been messing with here in the shop. We've made some really killer gains on, and we're about to do more. Thought I'd share.

And here's Dyno graph before/ after
We changed heads, LSXAP cam, put it on e85 and pullied up the blower a little, and made and ice tank and picked up a bunch on a stock bottom 5.3l.

Got a few pics porting my intake. It was done by a guy named Jose Barros hers a couple pics of the process. You can find him on Facebook he goes by the name of "puerto rican d bo" ha and he does a few of them. I also had him modify and plug off the existing pcv holes. I am going to redo the pcv and weld an bungs into the egr block off plate and build a catch can system to catch the oil. Right now it uses about 2qts every 3000miles.

I have been putting it to work the past couple days while I been doing some other work on my Racetruck.. I'm getting ready to put its turbo 4.8 in for next season and sell the 408 in it while I build another engine.

Here's Fat Albert and 50 Shades together, I'm pretty ocd about the color thing. Ha

looks like 805K Spiral Grey Metallic.
My 05 VHO is that color.

I would like to see the transition to the opening. I haven't had a chance to cut into one yet.
