LS2 has an aluminum block
LQ9/4's have iron blocks.

Sorry, been gone for a week.
With the A/C off, running 70 on the interstate, with ambients around 75, I see IAT's around 135-145
With the A/C on, it drops to 95-100 (all other conditions equal)
This evening, it's 72 degrees. W/O A/C, the IAT's were 125 in town. With A/C, they were 90-95
Reservoir is always cool to the touch A/C or not.

Patriot Stage 3 heads with thermal coating on valves and combustion chambers
