has anyone here tried a hellwig 7800?
or assassin bars / caltracs?
I've been reading threw some threads that guys got rid of wheel hop and gained a little better traction with the 7800
I know the ladder bars would be my best bet but all the pics I've seen they hang so low! and I already scrape my frame by the gas tank going onto the drive on hoist, let a lone with those hanging down, I'm not to interested in angling over speed bumps...been there and done that haha

I ran caltracs on my old 2006 Sierra and running the 7800 on my 2012 Sierra. The 7800 is awesome way more noticable when driving than the caltracs. I was going to do caltracs on the truck as well but don't really feel them necessary after the 7800.

did you have any wheel hop before the 7800?
I'm already leaning towards the 7800 anyways cause of the clearance issues, and the fact it'll help with handling

Hard to say my truck went from totally stock and 245's on steel wheels to 4/7 drop, hellwig sways and 275/45/20's all at the same time. I can tell you now it has no wheel hop or sign that it will with more power. I'd say try the 7800 first and see how your truck does. It's easier to install and worth it for the handling factor anyways.

I went with 62cc chambers and no milling, .40 gaskets and my flat tops.
TSP said I should be at 10.6
