i'll take a video today when i go to take it home, I ran it for about a half hour last night just in the bay, runs good except for the fact its pulling timing like crazy but I had previously spoken to black bear and he warned me the dual springs might cause that so I'll data log on the way home
that valve train will take some getting used too, its not excessive sewing machine noise but its more noticable now with the link bar lifters and dual springs

here's that idle vid

for the valve train I practically put the phone onto the valve covers so that's why it over powers the mic like that.
got my data log all sent out, hopefully I get my update soon and the roads clear up so I can test it!

Sounds good. Makes the cam more noticeable. Valve train doesn't sound too bad. I run those same lifters and at first it seemed louder but now I'm used to it.

I'll definitely get used to it too, I don't expect it to be factory quiet haha I like the sound

I got the go ahead from black bear to collect a heavier log file today, so I went out tonight. couldn't have asked for worse conditions haha, about -17*C (so that'd be what....12*F?) and it snowed a bit this afternoon.
from a 50mph roll and stomping on it; it'd fish tail a hint and hook up and pulled great all the way threw, I let out at about 100mph just cause that's pretty fast on sketchy roads
I tried off the line twice but I might as well of just been doing a brake stand cause I wasn't going anywhere, that sucks but It'll warm up eventually and I'll go out again haha this time with a video

I pulled off one major road and came up the on ramp onto another major road and pulled up right beside a new mustang GT (pre 5.0L) and I thought he had the wider rear tires on dished wheels, flow master exhaust and tinted windows AAAAND the car was black so I thought finally get to test this thing out, I gave a couple of flips on the throttle to get his attention, he downshifted and gave a rev so as soon as traffic kinda cleared up I got down to 3rd at about 4800rpm, got up beside him and gave a couple more flips of the throttle to let him know my intentions AND he slowed down! he started going about 8 miles below the speed limit!! and the best part is as soon as I got to my exit ramp he waited till I was at the point of no turning back onto that road and then he floored it! my passenger even had his phone all ready to record a mustang spanking too

Good to hear its up and running. Should pull even better once Justin gets it all ironed out. It's freezing here too. Supposed to get into the -20's.
Too bad the Mustang pussed out, that would have been a nice kill.

I had forgot to post this threw the build
this is pre heads and pulleys
351RWHP 344RWT
I plan to go back on the rollers once the tunes all dialed in just to see what the heads/milling and pulleys added

Nice before numbers!! That cam makes good power on 5.3's. You should easily be in the 380/390 range after the heads.
