I like this build! I've always wondered what it would take to get an LSA blower to fit our trucks. You can get them for so cheap its just the accessories and heads and all the other stuff that adds up.

And man does it add up fast too! Now if it will just warm up a little more so I can get in my cluttered garage and start getting stuff ready for when the block comes home from the machine shop!!

GM supposedly has a new FEAD system for LSA engines designed for retrofit applications that places the components in more favorable locations vs the stock routing.

19303242
Modified LSA Accessory Drive System, w/o AC
Similar to LSA Accessory Drive Kit P/N 19243525, but designed
for retro-fit applications with a relocated alternator and power
steering pump to provide chassis clearance in older vehicles
• Includes power steering pump and two remote-mount
reservoirs; builder to use the reservoir that provides the
best fit for the application
• Requires fabrication of reservoir mounting bracket
• Requires reservoir-to-pump hose
• Can be used with either LSA AC add-on or Corvette AC
add-on kit

Yes sir, that's the one I'm looking at actually. Trying to find it for less than $1000 seems to be a bit of a struggle so far. Hoping my buddy at the dealership can work some magic.

In other news, got the block dropped off for machining. Getting it checked thoroughly, bored +.030", decked, new cam bearings and painted. Place looks like a dump, but man do they turn out some good work. Old hot rodder who has a new love for LS motors. Told him what I was doing and his eyes lit up. He goes "in a truck? you crazy?" haha

I have looked high and low and cannot find anyone who has plumbed one of these up in a truck anywhere. I am going to do my best to do a detailed build and stay updated on this build. I am doing this out of a slightly cramped 2 car garage for the most part though haha.

You get one of the take offs from a ctsv?
Did you get a lid and everything or just the charger itself?

Am I the only one the pics don't work for? I can see one pic of the headliner out of all the ones posted.

i just got the blower with snout. need to locate a lid and throttle body.

more concerned with getting it lined up with accesories first, i still have a large list of things to do to the truck itself before it can go in.
