crew cab lq4 turbo swap
#1
hello all! for the longest time i have lurked and lurked on this site and i wish i could shake all of you weekend warrior's hands for all of your input, time and effort into putting this kind of stuff on the internet for us newbies. but anyways, i finally got around to picking up a lq4 long block for $350 that needs a rebuild. hopefully when its all said and done, ill be putting 400-450 rwhp that is durable and will last me quite some time.
my plans for it include:
ls6 valve springs
texas speed 224/224 112 lsa
forged wiesco pistons
forged H connecting rods
42 or 60 lb injectors
and of course boost! 76mm garret turbo
ill try and take as many pictures as i can as i go and if there's any input/suggestions/requests im all ears.

I would look into a more turbo specific cam, and you will def need more than 42lb injectors. 60's may not be enough if you ever decide to crank up the boost. 450 hp to the wheels will be more than doable with a 76mm and a 6.0. Good luck with your build! Im jealous!
