Default BurntBurb's Gas Sipper ('90 Subaru Legacy)

I bought this car to save some money for my daily commute and make my Suburban more of a weekend cruiser. I got it off craigslist for $800, got her running good, bought some junkyard steelies, put a new set of tires on them painted the wheels gloss black, and now I am attempting a fun paint job being the original paint job was pretty much done. I am going with matte green and black as the colors

Okay the reveal, I still need to install the "Legacy" badges, the rear Subaru badge, and my rally lights off my other car. I opted out on blacking out all the chrome bits at least for now(feeling lazy). The matte green color doesn't seem as green in the pictures but I don't feel like pulling out my nice camera in this crappy weather. I like the way it turned out, it was a fun little project.

I'm thinking a solid color would have done it more justice.

My fiancé and I chose the black hood inspired by a brand new STI we saw on the Internet. And I will do any thing to get my fiancé more involved with my hobby. We like it

Not a bad beater. The factory paint didn't look too bad... especially for a 20+ year old car!!

It's a great beater, the paint looked better in pictures than in person, it looker like someone took a sand blaster to the paint all over, it was hella pitted and it has a white overspray all over it as well. I will hopefully get my rally lights on it this week. Just gotta pick up some electricle connections.
