I still can't believe this guy is serious about trying this... In a way, I applaud his enthusiasm, and want to fab his own stuff but.... Apply all this energy to something useful and you might not end up a laughing stock... Throttle bodies are precision metered air inlets with a lot of technology in them. This is an insult to every company who builds them. I would hate to try to carry on a conversation with you face to face, you seem like possibly the most hard-headed person on the planet judging by your truck and your posts...

yeah, he may react and turn it off, or panic and run someone over. What happens if he gets it turned off and doing over 100mph at the end of the track, remember those brakes he wants to remove to make the truck lighter, and if he leaves those on he still has hydroboost to deal with. Its a losing situation anyway you look at it. I still dont believe it will run good enough to drive though, so these are secondary concerns.

Can you imagine what a dual TB setup would look like that he made.

You guys do know that a hydroboost vehicle has enough reserve after engine shutdown to apply the brakes with no problem for at least one time...

His lack of front brakes is another issue,

And to the O.P. Why not just delete the TB, look at the DMax's they don't even have one and look at the power they are making... <== to everyone else, that is sarcasm.
