That is how I leveled the bottom of my throttle body on my 94 more or less. It wouldn't seal up, it was the roughly the same size as the sander disc so I figured why not. It worked! Not that I would recommend it to everyone.

Theres a difference in flattening something to just an ordinary gasket and truing something within a tight tolerance

The point we're getting at is he wont be able to reach the proper tolerance of the inside of the TB using common toll you can pick up at harbor freight

So I just read the thread about taking the front brakes completely off this green 2500, WTF its not a drag car!!! And let me guess, best solution to compensate for the space between the wheel and hub where the brake rotor would be; you will be using washers, a.k.a. spacers???

Motor won't be running for atleast another month or so. If I am lucky 2-3 weeks but I have a few other parts to buy for the motor.
