After reading all this and came to a conclusion, Removing front brakes not such a hot idea if you wanna lose some gross vehicle weight get aftermarket rotors pads and calipers there gonna be light than stock ones.
The throttle body idea imo I think your gonna have more problems than any and is gonna cost more money for you, but if it does plus for innovation, and I hope you have full coverage cause if this all fails the damage this may cause is gonna cost more than 150 dollars for what tb you are wanting

If the hydroboost accumulator is working there is one chance for full braking power without the engine running. Just don't pump the pedal.

A serious suggestion would be to add a mechanical linkage between the throttle and pedal with a pull back bar on the pedal. The blades are often asymmetrical as mentioned earlier to help with flutter. A lot of OE type throttles use a bowl shape for the blade to ride in for the first 20% or so of opening to make the response more linear.

TBSS Intake.

It isn't an ls but this morning I un-pluged the IAC on my cousin's S-10 and guess what happened!?!?!?!?! Nothing really. It idled a touch high(100 rpm) and hesitated just slightly to come off idle. It was also 35* or so outside.

hold it wide open for a second so the iac closes and then unplug it and then let it come back to idle and see how it goes.

If you unplug it when the truck is idling its going to stay open.
