The issue that keeps coming up that makes no sense and is bassed on some hair brained idea is the dang thing sticking!?!?!?!!?1 How the hell is it going to stick!!?!?!?!?!!!?!?! It will have the stock spring, bearing on both ends, and nothing to hold it open.

Again if that proves to difficult to add and make work correctly then I am off to buy a TB.

I can't help but laugh my *** off every time someone keeps talking about me killing someone when the TB sticks. IT WON'T STICK!!!!!!!!!!! It is that simple. Lets say worse case scenario it does... I have a key all I have to do is turn it off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tada this isn't a Honda prius. But good thing is there is no chance of it sticking.

The posts and info you refer to are exactly what I am looking for. The bashing and off the wall claims are the downfall to this and some other forums. Hopefully with time I can brake some ground and with my first attempt or possibly adding an IAC and prove all the nay-sayers wrong.
Let me let you in on a little nugget of information. Your truck is a 2500HD therefore it has hydroboost brakes, if you simple turn the key off like you said the engine no longer spins. If the engine is no longer spinning the power steering pump is no longer spinning and if the power steering pump is no longer spinning it is no longer supplying the hydroboost master cylinder with pressurized fluid to give you power brakes. Have fun stopping your heap without assisted brakes.

He is one step ahead of everyone. He will have no front brakes, therefore no brakes to fail.

What makes you think it won't stick? You don't exactly do precision work. And that track record is leading to everyone's assumption. Why not just put a damn carb on it, you seem to understand those better. (Although I'm sure you're just assuming you know something about those too)

You need to use the power of Google or get some engine building books before getting into something this involved. Ignorance is not an excuse should something disastrous happen if you ever did take your truck to the track.
Just the fact that you compared a carb'ed motor to an EFI motor tells me that you have loads of learning and researching to do before taking on a project that is this ambitious.
If TurboBerserker, MikeGyver, 03Sierraslt, or a handful of other people who are in this thread or on this site decided to build a TB from scratch we wouldn't be as skeptical about it as we are with you, because they completely understand the task at hand and do lots of research prior to taking on something that involved.
None of us think there is any magic in anything automotive related, but we are humble enough to know when someone's ambition outstretches their abilities. As shown by some of your previous "mods".
