Camping Truck Build, '01 Suburban 2500

Not sure if I missed it, have you had it on the dyno yet?
I just ordered the LSXRT intake for my 6.0 build after finding out the hard way that I wasted $200 for a "trailblazer ss" intake that doesn't fit cathedral port 317 heads.

you'll love the LSXRT, don't listen to all the bashing. It made a night and day difference on my motor. Just don't try to use a NW 92 TB with it. good luck

Thanks for the info. Yeah I'm doing a dbw and using an 90mm ls7 tb. Oh and this motor is going into my 06 Jeep LJR.
Are all the vacuum ports still sealed from the factory and you just drill the ones you need? Was wondering about the one above your pcv connection. Looks like a cruise feed but not certain.
I plan on sanding down the tb cable nubs as well as any vacuum line I don't need and painting it.
Also, what's the smaller vacuum fitting next to the brake booster one for?
Thanks in advance.

I had the last piece of the puzzle fixed today, the header collector flanges. They had been previously welded up with some crappy 3-bolt flanges, "dead soft" aluminum gaskets, and copper RTV to seal the leaks. It worked OK for a few months, then it started to look like this:
Yes, that is the gasket squeezing out the side like a slice of tomato in a thick juicy burger. This was used with a 0.300" thick 3-bolt flange.
Here is what the gasket looked like when it was pulled out:

So I took the truck to Kyle at KB Racing who does excellent work at a fair price to get some V-bands installed:

Here is the finished product:

The exhaust leaks are completely eliminated, the sound is better, and the idle is perfect.
Another happy KB Racing customer! Thanks again Kyle!
