Did you use AT or DT or ?

Yea the open barrel one you have is not cheap lol. A closed barrel one is cheaper but I'm not sure if they can be used with all the connectors.

 

I've been using the Amphenol AT connectors from waytek. Says they are a direct replacement of the Deutsche DT connector.

 

O'yea, I figure out where I want to mount these damn Holley coils..........Banging my head on the wall at this one.

 

honestly... i spent the last hour and a half reading this entire post; skipped lunch because its like one of those book things where you cant walk away from it... only to see that **** still aint done. man you have the patience of a saint, because i totally thought id get to hear some ignition and romp. ugh... its like torture reading these build threads. my *** is flat from this chair for one, and then theres me day dreaming of looking out my front door and seeing a nice FI truck in the driveway... is it me or is it all the wannabe FI peeps where you make the whistle noises and the BOV noises when driving? haha this is a sweet build man. that leaf blower is huge! not meaning to thread jack, giving mad props to your hard work and god like patience. i honestly dont know how you kept sane while the engine builder poked around with your time. But it is what it is, no pain no gain i guess haha; all the way to the bank. But as to the money spent this and that, I believe this is what we work for. Well, booze and other small items but these brix being the center piece.

HAVE MOVIE YET???

 

The truck is very close to done. I had taken a bunch of pictures but haven't had an opportunity to post them up.

Basically all that is left is wiring up the EFI and building the cold side. Other than that just a few small things like put water and oil in it.

 

So another month before we see or hear anything...
