Dumb *** Comp fucked the pushrods up. It needs an 8.350" pushrod, which is what they sent. Problem is, they measure 8.370". This thing just barely fits together with the longer valves and the Crower shaft mount rockers. It can't be any longer than 8.350". So new pushrods will be here Monday. Hopefully they work.

Yea, its 8.350". This thing uses a much longer valve to accommodate install height and spring pressure required for the solid roller. Therefore it needs a really long pushrod. The intake lift is .750+.
Its a 408.

Hopefully they can get you squared away Monday.
After you get the engine back how long before you can have this thing running?
The pushrods in my friends Warhawk are around 9" long and diameter is 7/16 intake and 9/16 exhaust.

Well the truck is back on the ground. Front and rear suspension under it for good. All the brake lines are plumbed. I need to throw the motor in it and carry it back to madman one last time. He is gonna install the wheel tubs, redo the trans crossmember for the T400, install a shifter and make sure the new rear is squared up.
Once I get it back, its a matter of wiring the holley dominator, plumbing it and it'll be ready to rock. Of course there are some small things like cold side piping, putting the interior back in etc....
I'm thinking 3-4 weeks once I get it back from madman. I'm guessing it won't be at his shop more than 1-2 weeks once I get it to him.
