Its not so much power but preventing hot spots and detonation. That could result in being able to run more timing (or not have to pull as much), which would be significant.

Cam arrived today soooo i am finally able to start putting it back together. The final piece of the puzzle, the lifters, will be here tomorrow.

If the chamber is already fine then yea probably, but if its damaged or just ugly it could be an issue. Essentially the same thing as running too hot of a plug.
