don't forget to lube them when you install the shaft and the other bushing...

Looks like a straub kit.

Yeah it is the straub kit. It came with some allen head bolts but i am gonna use ARP bolts. I always fear i am going to snap the stock bolts. ARP is really proud if the rocker bolts because they were $$$$

Fixing the world one AN fitting at a time.

Always hated that dinky little barb fitting. So it is gone.

So i got the heads back today. They look fine to me. I will see how they perform. I went to Frankenstein since they are local and a board sponser. For 1150 you get new spring package, vakve job and a stage 1 port. Not too shabby.

I wanted a valve job and needed new spring anyway so i thought why not. Also the turn around was a week which was nice. I did not want to spend a ton of money and wait a month for other porters. So all in all a good bang for the buck and super nice guys.

Now i am just waiting on the cam which should be here on friday. Supposedly the lifters shipped this week too. Sooo with a little luck i will be bolting things together this weekend.

Also i am ditching my catch can setup since i had to use 5 cans of carb cleaner to clean out all the oil in my intercooler.

What brand of catch can are you using? Did you ever have to empty it?

CCA catch can from some corvette website. Yeah i had to empty it in the beginning but over the last several months nothing came out. Maybe it got clogged. I dunno.

Yes. I did not want them dicking around with milling or bowl work because i did not want my compression changing. Normally they do it.

I would have let them smooth it at least. You wont miss 1cc worth of material in there to make it smoother.
