I can't find it for some reason, but did I read in this thread a few days ago that someone likes to sand blast aluminum before welding it?

How does that look after done???

Yeah my buddy likes to do that. He said it makes the welds look better since everything is clean. I dunno i have never heard of doing it before

I usually do but i tried to get the ls7 maf sensor to work with the supercharger and it would not work.

So some results with the new heat sheild and 5in intake. I am back on the 90mm TB.

Previously with the 4in intake the most boost i could do was 13.6 (195kpa)

With the new 5in intake it does 14.9 (204kpa).

Next will be adding back the 102mm TB but that will be a few weeks.

It was about 15* cooler outside than before. That may have skewed it a little bit but i dont think it would skew it that bad.
