Yeah think hard. Also i have 5 more pulley sizes togo. So i might be able to hit 17-18psi when it is all said and done. I cant even imagine what that feels like.

 

Good to hear you're not disappointed with the switch. Not a lot of people are happy with a blower when they've experienced both a turbo and a blower on the same vehicle.

 

Corey, I'll tell ya that my TVS really liked the jump from 12-14. It seemed like 14-15 really made mine come alive compared to 12

 

Yeah i am not bashing the turbo. I think my turbo setup was just wrong or it just was not my thing. But i do love my truck now and i get to beat on it everyday. The only thing i plan to change on it is adding a 14bolt.

 

Just wait until you finish your exhaust and swap cams. I bet it is a completely different animal.

Corey I love how much you're loving this new combo. We run fairly modest boost levels, and I think when comparing # for # them you absolutely can not beat the power curve from these blowers. I think with the TVS specifically anything over 16psi you face diminishing returns of any. With the right turbo you can go beyond that and then some... The sky is the limit.

You can build a TVS to 700HP with a combo like you have built surprisingly easily. Nothing else can make the power as quickly. It makes boost and horsepower as quick as your foot can hit the floor.

Your combo has the ability to smash mine. Absolutely smash it... It's all right. Bigger blower, better cam, lighter truck... I'm looking forward to watching this progress.

Btw my truck feels like an slug compared to what it's capable of in colder temps. Had to toss that out there. You will make an additional 1psi if not more this winter
