Woooo Hoooo. I drove the truck around today doing some shopping and stuff. Nothing broke and i did not buy any truck parts. Which is a first over the last 2 months. Anyways the truck drives like a stock truck just cruising around. AC blows cold, with all the new electric upgrades(alternator, efan harness, battery cables, battery, etc) you cant even tell when the fans kick on high or the AC cycles, no low speed surging. Man i am happy. It has not driven like this in a long time.

Tuning is going really well. I really like the new ID1000s and meth kit. Results are very consistent and predictable.

Only thing left todo is:

A nice set of heads and forged motor.
Or
A twin turbo kit. I bet if i sweet talked Kyle he would build one.

But that would not happen anytime soon. I wanna buy a new CTSv or G8.

Well something i noticed with all the new crap. I cannot hear the turbo anymore. I thought no biggie at 7psi. Now at 10psi still cannot hear it. With the monster magnaflow muffler the truck is quiet. I like it.

 

You can't hear an S475? Isn't that the whole reason to get one?? lol

Do you mean turbine noise from the exhaust, or no whistle at all?

 

No whistle. Only way you know it is a turboed is when the BOV goes off.
