Ok so i fixed the damn noise. It was the fuel lines being attached to the firewall as seen in this pic. I removed them from the firewall and noise is gone.

Newest problem. I am having a belt alignment issue. Should not be a biggie to fix just more time.

Do you just have holes in your firewall now?

I think i fixed the belt alignment issue. Time will tell. I am gonna pick up an OEM belt at the stealership tomorrow. Thank goodness i have a buddy that works at the cadilac dealership and he gets me parts at his cost. Seems like i have spent a fortune up there lately.

Now i just gotta finish up the meth controller wiring and i am done.

So i drove the terd to work today. Everything ran great. Hopefully that last hurdle of the belt wanting to eject itself has been fixed. Surprisingly for as much crap as i changed the issues i encountered were minor.

Well i finally figured out the belt issue. Apparently i bent the damn alternator bracket. The ear that mounts the idler pulley was bent outwards causing the pulley to not line up and belt wanting to ride off the crank. I bent the bracket back straight and the test drive went well. The bracket is 3/8 Aluminum. So i found another company that makes a 3/4 thick bracket that is alot beefier so i ordered it.

Also i built an new efan harness. I got all the components from racetronix. All new relays and fuse holders. I got efan connectors from the stealership. I made redundant grounds in several places and used all 10 gauge wiring. When the fans kick on high with the AC on full blast. The idle is rock solid and no voltage dip. Hopefully i am good now.

I should have the truck all tuned up this week now that the METH kit is all wired in and working. I am ready for this project to be over with so i can enjoy the truck.

I would if i could but that damn bracket bent again and the ******* belt is slipping off again. I am gonna have to park it until the new bracket arrives which that company is taking its sweet time shipping it.
