Are you going to do some tuning today?

I have a lot of wires that run through that same spot. I hate it!

Oh just wondering how much timing you will end up adding with the meth.

Are you running a COS 3/5 tune? If so, have you found a uniformity to the Boost VE table (meaning values for each row - kPa - are nearly identical)? The COS tutorial has you set up highly inflated values that increase with each row. But as I've been tuning I've been finding that the VE values for a given RPM at varying manifold pressures are quite similar.

I dont understand your question. I set up my boost ve table by copying the last row of the normal ve table and slightly increasing each column as i copied it over to be safe. Mine will be totally different because i am using a boost referenced FPR. My boost ve values actually go down as boost increases.

Yes, it depends on if your fuel pressure is boost referenced or not. VE should only increase if it is NOT boost referenced, and even then its really kind of getting around the problem. Remember VE is a measure of efficiency for the engine, so it should always be a value between 0 and 100%. It just so happens it acts as a catch all for fueling, so its easy to adjust fueling by the VE table. Weak fuel pumps will also require higher ve values in higher boost ranges.

Yep but our VE tables are not a true representation of volume efficiency because computer takes IAT and ECT into account. That is why some VE number come out iver 100%.

Yes, thats why I made the comment it acts as a catch all for fueling. I should clarify by saying in theory engine VE should always be between 0 and 100%, and that may or not be the same as the VE table in the software depending on how the computer calculates fueling needs.
