not sorry it is all covered up... But i found this pic on another forum and I copied the design... basically i cut a 1.25 strip out of the frame rail. Then i notched a 5x5 3/16 plate then i sat the bar in the top of it. Turned out like the pic below.

Are you going to do the bigger headers before the 4link? Now that you've got the exhaust downstream, it needs better headers feeding it

Pretty crazy how far you're taking this thing. I remember when we put the LQ9 in, you just wanted a better exhaust and maybe some heads, now look at you

Hiccup #47..... I went to adjust the tune today for the new regulator, exhaust, etc... And it kept going freaking lean on me no what what i did... ANY kinda of heavy throttle and it would just lean out... Then when it was idling in the driveway, the fuel pump started whinning.... When that happened i destroyed a tape measure because it was the closest thing i could grab that was cheap...

Anyways, it turns out that the fuel filter was clogged... i took it out and WHAM!!! no more leanness.... the AFT tips over to commanded exactly like it should! Glad that was over... Now i still gotta retune

Yeah, i am an idiot, i just keep dicking with the truck, but it is fun!

I would have loved to put bigger headers on but funds did not allow for it

I will probably do headers after the link, by then i should know which direction i want to take the truck...

thanks man. yeah i see a light at the end of this tunnel finally approaching... Last night the truck spent the night in the garage testing the smell... i went out there this morning and no hint of gas smell. I am very happy about that... now all i have to do is get the tune tweaked and i am good to go... Good thing because i am tired and my garage is freaking destroyed.

I sent the fuel pressure today and tweaked the tune. I finalky fixed the annoying idle surge i have had for a long time. I was commanding 22.5 * if timing at idle i dropped it to 20* and it does not surge any more. I took it up to 5k today with only 26* of timing in 105* temp outside and it really moved out!!!

I really need to get it on some scales to see where i am at. Hopefulky in september my buddy will be freed up so i can borrow his 4 corner scales so i can start planning the 4 link.

I think a big F series procharger would put the icing on the cake with this build... I think you could build the bracket with your skills lol. Just buy the head unit... Any way everything looks awesome and in for the 4 link results!
