Yeah. I am a little concerned about those. They are 1/4 thick! Lots of beveling and multiple passes.

This is the jig i made to help align and hold the upper and lower mounts. It worked like a champ!

Have you thought about using a small peice of hose and a Ubolt to secure the Filler neck?

Split the hose and put it between the filler neck and your metal bracket.

I did a little work to the truck today. I added 2 loops to the -8 vent and ran the line all the way down to the roll pan edge and added a little filter to it. Took out the drivers side vent where it tied into the factory filler neck vent. Some gas poured out of that line. Thinking about it, it was pretty dumb to run that line because when i filled up it filled up with gas which was causing my truck to stink.

I also added a set of monroe shocks from a nissan frontier PN 37078 which are about 4 inches shorter. Riding around with 1 inch of downward travel freaking sucked. Truck ride good now. I had to enlarge the mounting holes from 9/16 to 5/8. I figured these will get me by until i install the 4-link and coil overs.

Getting ready for building the exhaust tomorrow, i added a front crossmember to mount the mufflers... I also moved the shocks to the back of the bar instead of the front... This tilts them slightly but it gives me more room around the rear end. I also cleaned up the wiring and got everything painted.

Nice! Having the bed off has to make running the exhaust a breeze

Kinda. The exhaust will just barely go past the cab. The exit will be about half way inbetween the cab and wheel.

I mainly took the bed off for safety. I read that welding around a fuel cell with open vents is definately not a good idea. So about an hour to take the bed off and drop the cell. Better safe or than dead.

Better safe than sorry. Curious how it's going to sound like that dumped there. Think the drone will be bad.
