Any updates with the installation process? Kinda interested to know how you installed your shiifter. I just got my new B & M StarShifter and needed some guide on how to install it.

Default Ratchet install

I got a question for ya, i read that you just removed the column shift lever but i believe you left the gate assy.... so I was wondering if you left the cable hooked up but removed the gate on the column, fabbed up a bracket on the tranny that would accept both the floor and the column cable wouldnt the gear indicator in the cluster still work?

Im installing a B&M Pro Ratchet this weekend and I really have this feeling I should just disconnect the old cable but not toss it.

LOL, i read the directions and was led to believe the selector switch was to be removed, after seeing all the hardware I realized the switch stays. lol
