You can post links to other forums for good info. The sharing of information isn't against the rules, its the blatant pimping of other forums and non sponsors that we don't want.

how much boost are u running? have u dyno'd it yet? those 6L80's take alot of power if tuned right, i think i know the guy ur talking about i heard good things about him. 70 IDC with the ID850's?
i had to repost this i dont think u saw it lol
glad ur figuring stuff out, i have a 6L80e with maxed torque calculations, shifts really well

And yup ID850's. They are doing amazing with my setup.
So on to the whole trouble at the track. It's always the little things. At the track before I would always pull my air filter off the elbow going to the procharger. Never was an issue before so figured it wouldn't be an issue now. Well every time I did a pull with the air filter off is when it was going into limp mode on me. Also every time it did that it blow the connection for my bypass that goes into the elbow out of the elbow which I am guessing is right when it goes into limp mode. I also tried a pull on the streets with the air filter off and had the same results.
I am thinking that bypass tube is moving all over the place and with the increased air coming in with no filter the second it lifts it blows it right out.
I have multiple logs with the air filter in launching in 4x4 and it is just flat scary. The bypass connection going into the elbow stays put and my data logs look perfect (except for a little KR but I am working on that). I have one log of 0-100 that is right around 10 seconds flat and I didn't even stall it up very high. Really wish I tried a run at the track with the filter on... not sure why that thought never crossed my mind.
I am going to mount my GoPro under the hood and remove the air filter and see if I can catch that bypass on video and see what it's really doing. Might have to find a way to rig it up so I can secure that bypass tube a little better so it stays in place.

According to Tony at Injector Dynamics
Gotcha. Ok, so at 58psi rail pressure and 18psi boost, we're talking about 40psi effective fuel pressure. That being the case, assuming a .65BSFC (should be plenty safe for a pump gas production motor), we're talking about roughly 900bhp capability on the ID850 at 7k rpm, and about 1100bhp capability on the ID1000.

comparing my current trans tune vs waker's. there is minimal changes.
im not talking down on the guy.

the trans tune i sent ya before the motor tanked was just a base to get your feet wet and to get a feel for what needed to be adjusted
