sitting in line to wash it right now. will try and get a quick video on the drive home.
overall reaction is im blown away (ok that was corny).
really though why did i not do this sooner...the sound, the pin you to your seat, the roasting tires in 4x4 into 3rd gear..all of it. i cant wait to hit the track now.
i need better tires once summer comes also cause stock ones are just not gonna cut it

and ya love the whistle. First thing the wife asked was what that was and if that sound is normal. It does sound like a belt might be going if you don't know what you are listening for. That is till you get in it a little.
My test was always how much I could freak the wife out. When I was stock and just a custom tune and aftermarket muffler if I drove like a jackass and got on it I could usually get the wife to gasp for a second and try and catch her breath and grab a door handle.
Well last night I kicked it into 2wd, turned traction control off and from about a 30mph roll just layed into it. It got sideways spun through a couple gears, hooked and we were doing over 100 in no time flat. The ENTIRE tine the wife is screaming I don't like this and covered her eyes with her hands.
I say mission accomplished

Awesome to hear it's together and running smooth. I love the girlfriend/wife test, my ex went for a ride in my old Camaro once, from then on it was only trips in non-modded vehicle for her

Lol, my ex-wife refused to ride in my Z28 ever again, after I got in a race with a Vortec blown 5.0 90's mustang through the middle of Wasilla! Triple digits in a 45 mph zone, 4 lane highway... not the smartest thing I ever did.
