Default 99 LS1 swap into 04 silverado 2wd

hey guys, i've got an all aluminum LS1 out of a 99 camaro and my rcsb has a 4.8 with the drive by wire setup. Do i swap to the cable setup or go with a better wire setup? Has anyone heard of this swap being done? Am I just wasting my time and money on this swap. Ive also got the trans and harness out of the car. Thanks for any info

For what it's worth... I HATE drive by wire. However, you already have it, so I'd just put it back on, get a tune, and push on the skinny pedal.

Thanks guys, I know this engine is stouter so I figured i'd be happier trying to get more out of the ls1 versus throwing money at the 4.8

Youd be surprised what the 4.8 can do.

The 72 is a stalled project at the moment. All I wanted with it was to be a reliable/drivable show truck. But now I have this NBS and would like more power out of it. I had a Nnbs and I sold it due to owing too much money and was very disappointed in the "lack" of power. I want this nbs to sound like my old 383 in my k5 and also mess with some mustangs!
