Default 97 S10 5.3 turbo

I just bought a 97 S10 RCSB step side and i plan on swapping a 5.3(lh6) in it with a 6l80e transmission. The stock rear end is going to be in there for now... just going to add some traction bars. The motor is going to be a stock 5.3 shortblock (aluminum block and flat tops) and going to install a custom turbo cam and a 317 heads. The trans is going to be stock for now and so is the rear end. Later going to be putting some better parts in it but it is just not on the budget right now. This is going to be mostly a track toy but also street legal. Sorry if this is a slow progress because i work from early to late but ill keep you guys updated as good as i can. Im at work right now but ill upload some more pics when i get home.

Thanks guys! I am waiting on the head studs, lifters, and some dual springs and then i can put the engine back together.

I have one question: Where is the best placement for the intercooler? I tried putting it between the grille and the radiator but i cant really fit it there. How about between the enigne and the radiator? There is more room but i dont know if there would be enough cold air to actually cool it down.
