Hoping to start this weekend or monday, i ran into a issue with the trans controller, evidently there is no TPS with the kit and i was under the impression there was, so i have to figure out what sensor i need and make it work on a custom bracket on the carb, then it should be solid.

Well, went to return the 4.8 to get another, or a 5.3, ended up swapping the 4.8 out and buying the old one back for 200 as a core with a couple bent valves on the 243s, LOL. So, a 2009 4.8 is going in.

So it begins, started taking the old TBI 350 apart, still need to take the DS out and then remove the motor and trans and prep for the new setup to go in.

It WAS till the end, think it just needs a charge, so it will be going back on when i get the 300$ for the adapter kit.

Ah gotcha.

Mine hasnt worked in my 89 since probably 05. So I just got rid of all that when I started the 5.3 swap. Shaved the holes in the firewall for the a/c so theres no going back. lol

LOL, if it works.

Got her in there, damn motor mount adapter plates are the best i have used, tried one side for the headers and needs a touch of clearance for the A arm upper mount, just a touch, no biggie, but it is in and now i need to put the rest of it together.
