Put the reference line to the top of the gate. That little turbo probably doesnt have enough *** to break anything if your tune is half decent even at 50psi

(dont actually do this, yet)

Oh itll blow my head gaskets right up with my nice stock head bolts

The turbo with the big spring spooled to 15 real easy actually but Don never revved it all the way up for the reason above

Big boost doesnt necessarily mean big power

Well thats one of the reasons I did the cam, I wouldnt have to put as much boost through the motor. Or at least that was my logic I hope its right

Ive seen a couple of tbss intakes in the classifieds and it got me wondering...

I know with a turbo the intake doesnt matter much, you can make a 1000 hp on a stock intake and whatever Ive heard that

But would a tbss intake improve the driveabilty and down low torque? Like meaning would the truck accelerate better with a tbss intake when its out of boost? Cause theres no slight inbetween its either in or out of boost and the truck takes off once it gets into it and also sucks up all my gas...

Went to a diesel dyno day with my buddies last sunday and the truck ended up on the rollers, I wanted to turn the boost up a little but the ebay boost controller didnt work so I think ill just buy the RPS one like I shouldve.

The first two pulls the truck downshifted into 2nd, and the last one i rolled into it slower and it held 3rd

1st run downshifted into 2nd 380/390 somethin
2nd run messed up run, youll see on the sheet
3rd run, held in 3rd, 375/436

I got to get a picture of the sheet and upload it

This is still when the boost is at 7 and comes down to 5

those number are not bad but with all the time and funds you have invested I would of liked to see 450+ rwhp I think if you can work out loosing boost you'll see better numbers for sure

So Im home from college for the week and Im gonna put new lifters and head studs in.

Should I get new exhaust manifold gaskets? They're only 6 months old but I wasnt sure if they were one time use only or not

Exhaust gaskets will be fine if they are the oem type...if not get those. Get those headbolt holes extra clean and get a air blower that will go the bottom of the bolt hole.
