6.0 Stick Shift Tahoe (NV4500)

i was thinking 5500
and i knew where you were going on the taco jerry-rig... i was just pointing out that adding an extra injector ain't a foreign concept. we do it all the time for meth nozzles, which is technically spraying extra fuel into the intake.

Ding ding ding we have a weiner! 5540 is what the scale said, a little heavier than I expected as they are 5037 when new according to Edmunds. I do have a bunch of stuff in the back which I will weigh when I take it all out tonight.
It's all good, we are basically saying the same thing lol. One injector juicing the whole motor just seems not that accurate to me. I've watched some of the engine masters videos testing the distribution of fueling through different intakes and it's amazing how bad some of the intakes are. I can't quote which is best or whatnot but it was an interesting watch, a lot of their stuff is worth watching.

I was hoping for more like 5250 thinking about how I saved weight by removing the spare, and torsion bars. I guess my massive amount of sound deadening, huge exhaust system, big axle, big wheels, big brakes, subwoofer, and stoopid heavy cast iron transmission all add more than those two little items subtract.
IDK how accurate that power/weight=ET calculator is but I can't wait to reverse it and use ET and weight to figure a HP guesstimate.

The chrome is shiny and the shifts are crisp but it's not a must-have IMO. Just depends on how bad your factory one was, mine was awful so I gave it to Zebra and he replaced a spring or something in it and it was better.

$400?! holy crap, they've went way up in Brandon's economy!
yeah, i fixed Dan's old shifter pretty easy... but i still think the Core was a much better unit & worth the upgrade.
not sure i'd swing $400, though. maybe you can find a used one - just ensure you get the one that matches your top cover. they made two different heights that have about 1/4" difference in the actuator arm length.
