*****BREAKING NEWS!*****
-The death toll keeps rising from Corona virus. In this case the victim (Black rubber trans mount) was hit with repeated clutch dumps for no reason and then left to deteriorate from Corona virus.

I think this is the last part of the drivetrain not upgraded. Also those little push lock air hose fittings are the shiznit. No leaks and no axle slamming exhaust into frame now plus it rides great around town at 10psi.

It's probably been broken for awhile since theres been an occasional clunk when changing directions while still rolling for several months. No biggy $13 mount should be here next week.

anyone know if theres a reinforced mount or poly mount available? Pretty sure it's the same mount as the auto trans.

Little update as it just rolled over 250k miles. Still looks the same and everything is working as it should. Got 17.4mpg on a trip to the beach and back last weekend. Not bad considering I averaged around 75mph and didn't check tire pressure or any other hyper mileage techniques.

To do list:

-Have airbags hold air for more than a few days
-Finish gathering coilover swap parts
-Ditch the tinted tail lights
-Figure out cruise control

Other than that its been doing well and I've put a lot of miles on it since I got it 11 months ago. It works to well to try and squeeze more power out of it and ruin the reliability.

Motor is great! Makes great oil pressure 70+ at WOT 50-55 cruise and hot idle is around 35-40psi with 5w-40.
Motor and transmission have somewhere around 30k now and act exactly as they should but I would like a little more cam and maybe have the heads professionally ported but no complaints.
The body and interior has 250k and show their age as they should with minor blemishes and the driver seat is not as supportive as the passenger seat but no rips or tears. I might look into getting a new seat or having it repaired.
AC is fantastic after the rebuild and everything else on the interior works as it should except one map light on the passenger side which had the button pushed in by some brute.

Yesterday I drug my little sisters car all around town looking for parts after the dealer tried raping her on pricing. It was close to 100* I had 4 people in it and a heavy equipment trailer with an accord on it in tow. AC was on max through stop and go traffic and ECT never even got to the halfway point on the cluster. Pulled up all Florida's hills without struggling

Overall a good buy IMO.

I really dig the hd front end on the tahoe man. Good looking truck for sure. I like that you understand that moar power isn’t always the answer. Idk why but that seems super hard for people to grasp these days.
